The pale-headed rosella is a shy beast. After waiting an hour for no small birds to appear at the grassy place, I dragged my camera over to the other small-bird area. Non there either, but a flash of colour indicated a couple of birds on move. Through some branches I saw a yellow head. The tripod was too short to get a clear shot, so I lift the camera and tripod up and got two shots in before they moved quickly away. I bothered some cormorants on the way home.
