Sufficient sun but too few little birds

The sun came up and out this morning, but the grey fantails and fairy wrens missed the memo. So I photographed pigeons. Well, it wasn’t a total loss.

The moon was still up at just past six, the sun was getting around the clouds at half-past, the ibis were heading straight to somewhere, and the magpie geese were giving me flying-bird practice (the swings are still out of order due to flooding).
