The genius goes out early this morning, with clouds in front and behind and clear skies above, carrying his 500 mm zoom lens. So I start by taking a picture of the clouds that temporarily blocked the sun (at 183 mm) and forget to re-adjust the zoom to 425 mm (my favourite length). So I see a new bird (to me) and wonder why it seems so far away. Anyway, I shot some dinky pictures of a little bird with the small end of my zoom.
The photos are none too clear, but it is a Mistletoe Bird.
